England Golf and Players 1st are delighted to be exhibiting for the first time at the industry leading conference which returns to the golf industry schedule. The GCMA 2021 Conference is acclaimed to be the only major conference in Europe devoted to Golf Club Management, and will focus its programme of content on Leadership and wellbeing, Sustainability and Technology. The conference takes place from the 21st – 23rd November 2021 at Wyboston Lakes Resort.
The federation and the leading survey supplier will be promoting the retention support that is available to affiliated clubs within the Membership: Give it a Shot campaign. As the sport has enjoyed an increase in club memberships since re-opening following closures as a result of COVID, understanding what is important to these new members is vital. England Golf are supporting clubs through their partnership with Players 1st, providing free access to a suite of experience surveys available through their industry leading platform, as well as additional retention support opportunities for clubs.
By understanding the specific experiences of new members, current members and former members, clubs are able to make appropriate changes and take action base on customer feedback specific to their club. Clubs will also benefit from the national and regional benchmarking capabilities within the platform, whilst being able to add additional custom questions specific to their club, facilities and business.
Matt Draper, Gavin Anderson and Victoria Crosbie-Cowley from England Golf will be in attendance across the 3 day event, joined by Amelia Lewis and Morten Bisgaard from Players 1st.
Victoria and Amelia will also be supporting the GCMA in their ‘Women in Golf’ breakout session on Monday morning.
Club managers who are attending the conference are welcome to stop learn more about the retention support available.
