The PGA TOUR continues up the California coast this week for the first mainland Signature Event of the season as Pebble Beach Golf Links hosts the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Rory McIlroy is making his 2024 debut on TOUR this week. The Northern Irishman has had a strong start to 2024 by finishing runner-up in the Dubai Invitational and then claiming victory at the following week’s Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour. His best finish at Pebble Beach came at the 2019 U.S Open where he finished ninth. Reigning FedExCup champion Viktor Hovland will also be in California this week. It’s been five years since his historic T12 finish as an amateur at Pebble Beach in the 2019 U.S Open. He managed T13 at last year’s event and will be looking to build on his three wins on TOUR in 2023. Jordan Spieth returns to Pebble Beach where he has had great success with a win (2017), T3 (2021) and a solo second (2022) among six top-10s. He also started the season with a T3 at The Sentry just after the New Year. Others to look out for are Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Tommy Fleetwood and Max Homa.
