Seed Golf has set its sights on yet another year of global growth as the fast-expanding equipment brand announces a record yearly sales boom of 129 per cent just days after returning from an extremely successful 2025 PGA Show.
The figure – recorded across 2024 – means that Seed’s revenue has now doubled or better for three consecutive years, while the brand now controls an estimated eight to ten per cent of the golf ball market in its native Ireland.
Operations in the United States are set to rapidly escalate in 2025 following the launch last year, thanks to a vastly increased warehouse and distribution space, heightened marketing presence and sponsorship of popular media outlets such as golf news brand Normal Sport and its founder Kyle Porter. The brand will also launch its popular custom printing service in the US, meaning customers in all 50 states can receive balls branded with images and graphics of their choice at a faster rate than ever.
Seed also had a large presence at the 2025 PGA Show in Orlando, sponsoring the Golf Inspired Golf Day at Orange Tree Golf Club and held a celebratory evening event at The Greens Indoor Golf Centre – with guests given a sneak-peek at upcoming product.
Meanwhile, commercial and critical success has allowed Seed to continue expansion into new overseas markets, including a new distribution centre in Australia via seedgolf.com.au.
The brand, which was founded in 2017 and is still headquartered in Ireland, even has a fourth continent in its sights for 2025 thanks to a new multi-year partnership with golf specialist On Par Investments. On Par will market, distribute and retail all Seed Golf equipment throughout South Africa, both at wholesale and via the new website seedgolf.co.za.
Seed has also teased yet another year packed with boundary-pushing new product releases, including completely new additions to the range and upgraded models of some of the brand’s biggest sellers.
Ahead of the much-talked about ‘rollback’ of golf balls set to be enforced by The R&A and USGA from 2028, Seed is also beginning work on a two-year design project to develop a conforming ball ready for a trial and eventual launch in 2027. Ireland’s South East Technological University is among the design partners working closely with Seed to complete the project.
Dean Klatt, founder of Seed Golf, said: “We were obviously thrilled with the success we saw in 2024, which included record-breaking numbers both in Ireland and overseas markets.
“Now we’re determined to take full advantage of this growth by bringing Seed to more people around the world than ever before. That journey began with our presence at the PGA Show, and we will keep pushing to make our product range even better and more complete. Watch this space for news about this year’s product launches!”
