Pioneering footwear brand, ECCO® GOLF, has announced the re-signing of PGA Tour star, Doc Redman, on a multi-year deal.
Hailing from the renowned Clemson Tigers golf program in South Carolina, Doc won the coveted U.S. Amateur in 2017 which earned him an invite into the 2018 Masters as an amateur. He turned professional following the NCAA Championships later that year, and went on to finish solo second in the 2019 Rocket Mortgage Classic to earn Special Temporary Membership on the PGA Tour, before ultimately earning enough points to secure full status and membership on the PGA TOUR for the following season.
Redman, 23, enjoyed another successful season in 2021, qualifying for the FedEx Cup Playoffs for the second consecutive year. En-route to the playoffs, Redman collected four top-10’s, including a T2 at the Palmetto Championship. In 2022, Redman is looking to capitalise on his strong season with more impressive results.
“I’m delighted to be re-igniting my relationship with ECCO GOLF,” commented Redman. “ECCO have been an important partner of mine and it’s very exciting to be working together once again in 2022.
I can’t wait to get back out on tour in 2022 and I’m looking forward to making more memories on the golf course wearing ECCO GOLF shoes over the coming years.
Jesper Thuen, responsible for sponsorship at ECCO GOLF, added: “Doc is a brilliant young golfer, with a huge amount of potential to be one of the stars of world golf.
“We are extremely excited to be re-starting our relationship, and we can’t wait to see him continue to grow over the coming seasons.”
In addition to Doc Redman, ECCO GOLF shoes are worn in competition around the world by Lydia Ko, Caroline Masson, Henrik Stenson, Fred Couples, Erik van Rooyen and Thomas Bjá¸rn, among others. For further information about ECCO GOLF, please visit golf.ecco.com.
