Las Colinas Golf & Country Club has installed revolutionary Toptracer technology onto its driving range, to provide golfers with an innovative experience on their 18-hole Championship course, further enhancing their exemplary facilities on offer.
The resort is one of only 14 resorts in Spain to have Toptracer installed. Toptracer Range is the world’s most used ball tracking system and gives golfers the ability to monitor each stroke, ball speed, flight distance and trajectory, all through the use of the Toptracer Range app on a mobile phone.
Also on offer is a variety of skill-based games such as “Longest Drive” and “Virtual Golf”, allowing golfers to remotely play famous courses around the world. A virtual leader board which connects golfers globally, allows the user to compete against each other and climb the world rankings, to provide an extra level of competitive fun all while improving technique.
The resort has introduced the equipment in style, combining its fabulous gastronomy offering with Toptracer games and activities at a new Foodie Golf Experience, first held on March 10. More than 85 guests attended the first event, to celebrate the launch of Toptracer and enjoy the curated 14-dish menu on offer.
Foodie Golf Experiences can be booked at Las Colinas Golf & Country Club from March 17 onwards, giving guests the chance to experience a combination of cuisine and use even more Toptracer team building games and activities on monitors above the driving range, reserved specifically for Foodie Golf Experience events.
Javier Rodráguez, Director of Operations of Las Colinas Golf & Country Club said: “Toptracer is a fantastic addition to our resort, and I think our residents, members and guests will enjoy using it immensely. We want to offer added value to our players and encourage anyone who has not yet done so to get started in the world of golf in a very exciting, innovative and fun way.”
Nestled in a 330-hectare valley and just a 50-minute drive south of Alicante, the resort enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year, while the site is surrounded by a natural park of 10,000 hectares and is only six kilometres away from the Spanish Mediterranean coastline.
As well as an 18-hole Championship golf course, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club offers a wide-range of comprehensive leisure facilities, including a golf academy, padel and tennis academy, WOW Beach on the seafront, a gym, a wellness area, and a racquet club.
The impressive culinary offering at the resort includes three restaurants – stylish Italian restaurant il Palco, Nikkei cuisine at umawa and an international menu at unik, made with fresh produce, to give residents and guests an opportunity to enjoy a healthy Mediterranean lifestyle to the fullest.
